Dance As You Are believes dance has the power to transform, educate and help people to see the word in a new light. This is achieved by creating initiatives/outreach projects that take dance artists into our community to work with those who cannot access dance to help them realize their positive potential. Through dance we provide structure, discipline, focus and a powerful channel of expression for people who feel isolated, alienated and powerless. Contemporary dance training, movement explorations, group collaborations and performance have the power to achieve this.

Dance As You Are is a funding platform for dance/theatre works, site specific works, digital dance and dance film and installation work which can include performances, education, events and outreach projects.
